Greater Manchester Gas Generator Peaking Plant Progresses

Greater Manchester Peaking Plant project has achieved great progress in the last few weeks, and is now near to its completion!

The 14 MW of Gas Peaking Plant Generation will support the National Grid during peak energy requirements and ramp up quickly from engine off to full load. Which is something vital to have in the energy mix as we move more into renewable energy as a whole.

The UK energy sector and government has seen that BESS are indeed important to the future of managing the Grid and reducing emissions from Power Stations, however Artitrage with gas generation is required for grid support. Being able to adapt quickly and easily, plus supply a guaranteed energy value upon need.

Our gas-peaking plants, like this one, help move the UK energy grid into the future.
